Strategy in action

The fifth edition of the Transilvania Investments Investor Day brought together shareholders, investors, partners and the TIA team in a welcoming atmosphere at the Aro Palace Hotel in Brașov on Wednesday, 14 October 2026.

During an open and transparent dialogue, participants had the opportunity to hear directly from the members of the Executive Board about the plans and decisions that have reshaped Transilvania Investments’ portfolio and how the company’s strategy creates value for our shareholders and partners.

Marius Moldovan, Executive President, presented the implementation of Transilvania Investments’ strategy, the impact of the exit strategy on the company’s results over the past 12 months, and the next steps for the coming period. He highlighted the transition from the historical portfolio to new projects currently underway, including those in the tourism sector, which are expected to generate value in the future. Financial information was also presented, covering Net Asset Value (NAV) and Net Asset Value per Share (NAVPS), the portfolio structure and the top 10 holdings as of 31 August 2026, as well as the allocation of capital released from legacy assets towards financing growth and rewarding shareholders.

Răzvan Raț, Executive Vice-President, outlined the new investment approach, which aims to build a more concentrated, return-oriented portfolio; increase net asset value and gradually narrow the discount; maintain a balance between listed and unlisted assets; and ensure additional capital is available to seize new investment opportunities.

Attila Joos, CEO of Aro Palace, presented the ongoing redevelopment project at Hotel Capitol, which will become the future Mercure Brașov Center (Accor), as well as the new concepts to be introduced at Aro Palace, which will be rebranded as Aro Palace Brașov, a Hyatt Regency hotel. He also discussed the challenges involved in transforming historic brands into leading international destinations. These strategic investments will deliver premium services in line with international standards, strengthening Brașov’s position as a leading destination in Romanian tourism.
